Is staying up untill 3:00am or later each night, not doing homework, and ignoring real life friends addiction? Yes... but luckily, i only suffer from two of those XD. And that WoW episode was the funniest yet, and it reminded my of why I hated wow.

"How do you kill that which has no life?"

Very funny.

GW addiction?
Leaving this one at a maybe. I've dealth with my share of addictions, and in many ways I can see similarities. Lots of times I use computer games as a form of stress release and giving me something I can do to unwind. Have a really crappy day? No problem, just go do some gaming and feel better. Is this the same as pouring yourself a glass of scotch or smoking a joint at the end of a bad day? Not exactly, but when it gets to the point that you cannot feel good without the drugs, the alcohol, or the FoW run, then there's a problem.

ha i watched the whole thing on youtube. the main reason i play is because i started developing carpal tunnel syndrome from playing too much unreal tournament 2004. the stress from this first person shooter also was bad for my health since i have vocal cord dysfunction and stress is one of the things that aggitate my vocal cords to complete shut on me. so guild wars is just my escape for an hour or two a day after school, cross country practice, homework everyday. also its always something new for me, in addition to all the other reasons why i stopped playing FPS games, i also got bored with owning the same people every day - even in competitive play. The only other step wouldve been to go pro and spend 12+ hours a day so i couldve been better than the other 5% that i couldnt beat playing 1-2 hours a day. and sorry to say, but i have a life.

Yes, it was hilarious. txs for the link.

My two favourites besides the "no life" were "65 million boars" and "here son, take the sword. Ehrm, how do I trade items ingame?"

As the theme resurfaces periodically, here two related articles:

A New Disorder is Born and some data in Problematic Usage.
